Swing-open tailgate pivots 180 degrees
and simply lifts off when open if desired.

A post and socket holds the tailgate open for convenience.

Tongue Jack is simple and easy to use. Crank the handle to raise and lower the tongue then release the locking pin and rotate it up for travel. The swivel castor enables easy maneuvering by hand.

Taillights are LED and very well protected from damage. Advantages of LED over incandescent lights are; LED lights are Much Brighter, Consume 1/3 power, Unaffected by External Shock and Vibration, and Last 50 Times Longer.

Wiring Done Right.

Superior wiring standards are a hallmark of Iron Eagle trailers.

Wires are always protected by grommets to eliminate the most common cause of short circuits.

Over 95% of the wiring is enclosed inside the box-tube frame making damage from snags,
and the elements impossible.

Box tubing makes superior trailer frames and is the main component of every trailer frame we make.

Trailers often subject to heavy loads that are unevenly distributed causing high twisting force which can cause permanent damage.

Box tubing resists this twisting force far better than channel iron and significantly better than angle iron.

Tandem Axles (dual axles) increase the payload capacity to about 4000 lbs from the standard 2500 lbs. The all wheels are equipped with electric brakes. You can request brakes on the rear axle only and save approximately $125 but it's not recommended and not allowed in some states.

Storage box is constructed of rigid polypropylene. Its volume is 50 gallons and measures 36"w x 20"h x 21"d.

It is equipped with a locking latch and accommodates 2 additional pad locks.

Electric brake system is recommended for heavy payloads and/or if the tow vehicle is smaller (such as jeep, minivan, mini SUV, etc.)

Electric brakes will also reduce wear of the tow vehicle brakes. Your tow vehicle will need a dash mounted controller to operate the trailer brakes.

Ramp Gate folds up/down and is easily removable. Recommended for frequent ramp use such as a landscaping business. Note: Fitted cover is not compatible with this option.

Fenders are welded to heavy gauge tube supports for maximum integrity.

We actually install anti-slip material on the top surface of each fender for your safety.

You won't see a sticker that says "Not A Step" on an Iron Eagle Trailer.

Accu-Lube wheel bearing system makes wheel bearing maintenance a breeze.

Grease is channeled throught the spindle and into both inner and outer bearings. It takes just a few minutes once or twice a year.

The Fitted Cover is exceptional and will last longer than a dozen "blue tarps". The cover is made of heavy duty vinyl-coated polyester. It's the same material commercial truck tarps are made of. It's waterproof, UV resistant, tear resistant, and freeway-speed friendly. It's custom fitted to the trailer and the bungee cord is integrated in the cover. Removable aluminum bows are included to keep the center high and the rain out. Ramp Gate is not compatible with this option.

"Bulletproof Decking".

Every Iron Eagle trailer is equipped with pressure treated lumber to eliminate rot. The decking is also Kiln-Dried after treating to drastically reduce warping and shrinkage. Pressure-treated Kiln-dried deck is an exclusive feature of Iron Eagle.

Recessed D-rings installed in the deck and are anchored directly to the frame. You choose how many and the locations.

Spare tire carrier and spare tire. The carrier includes a pass-through hole for a cable or chain lock if needed.

We typically install it in front of the axle on the side of the trailer or you can specify alternate placement.

Rear Stabilizers Great for loading/unloading your trailer while unconnected from the tow vehicle such as at a campsite or construction site. They quickly fold down and extend to accommodate uneven surfaces and have a capacity of 1000 lbs.
