Box tubing makes superior trailer frames and is the main component of every trailer frame we make.

Trailers often subject to heavy loads that are unevenly distributed causing high twisting force which can cause permanent damage.

Box tubing resists this twisting force far better than channel iron and significantly better than angle iron.

Optional Feature

Dovetail the rear 24" of decking is angled down to accommodate vehicles or machinery with low ground clearances. An 18ft dovetail trailer is a 16ft flat deck with 2ft angled down at the rear.

Standard Feature

Stake pockets are located on the front, rear and both sides. They accommodate 2x4 lumber to enable you to build removable sides to fit your application. The ramps attach to the outer railing (rubrail) which also serves as additional tiedown points.

Standard Feature

Accu-Lube wheel bearing system makes wheel bearing maintenance a breeze.

Grease is channeled throught the spindle and into both inner and outer bearings. It takes just a few minutes once or twice a year.

Our line of super-duty tandem axle flatbed trailers with a gross weight rating of 14,000 Lbs. This trailer is your best choice if your typical cargo weight will be within 4-1/2 to 6 Tons (9,000-12,000 Lbs). If you need a higher weight capacity, consider our 14k Series.

Heavy duty ramps are included and are stored securely under the frame. Ramps attach to the rear to load vehicles and equipment and also attach to both sides of the trailer for side loading capability. Loading stabilizers extend to support the rear of the trailer while loading heavy cargo to drastically prevent frame stress and improve safety.

Stake pockets are included on all sides of the frame to accommodate 2x4 lumber which enables you to build whatever style of removable walls or railing that you need for your particular application. There's a tie-rail along the perimeter of the trailer for securing your cargo in any configuration. Stake pockets also double as excellent tie-down points.

This model is available in two versions Standard and Dovetail. The Dovetail version is angled down at the rear and will better accommodate low ground clearance vehicles. See examples in our photo gallery.

Why Choose an Iron Eagle Trailer?

We specialize in manufacturing utility and flatbed trailers that are reflected in this website.

Since we are focused on a specific product line, we can offer you a higher quality trailer with more features at a lower cost. Many companies build trailers as a supplemental product to their main business.

If you're considering dealing with one of these businesses, click on "What to look for in a trailer". It will be a big help.

The trailers we manufacture are complete with the features you need!

We realize the frustration in purchasing a product, any product, and then finding that some basic necessities are options that cost extra, like:

safety chains, lights, tie-down hooks, tongue jack, etc.

We donŠt distribute unfinished units!

We build well-equipped trailers that are setup to be used right away without requiring options. Ask anyone you see towing an Iron Eagle Trailer+ and get their opinion.
